Singer, songwriter, and dance music artist, Dena Carman is a Florida native, but has traveled the globe performing as far as Japan. She has several dance music single releases internationally from her album, Transcendence, that have charted in Canada, Europe, and the Uk top 10. Dena has dabbled in many different genres of electronic dance music. She has written and been the vocalist for trance, techno, rock house, tribal house, Euro pop, and loves to remake 80′s music. She has a soprano voice, but her vocal ranges alto soprano on most tracks, a sweet and sexy combination that in reviews her voice has been compared to some of the most famous women in electronic music; such as Jan Johnston, Kirsty Hawkshaw, Kylie Manogue, and Madonna.

Dena is also a performance artist, performing her live show in Miami nightclubs, nightclubs nationwide, and abroad. She works with Hot Jam Entertainment Company; which provides choreographed dancers, circus acts, and custom high fashion costumes. Dena also produces all of her own videos that are played during her live show, and in combination with the professional dancers, beautiful circus acts, and elaborate costumes the audience is mesmerized.

Dena Carman’s album, Transcendence, is comprised of five different genres of electronic music that spans this collection and is a collaborative effort by three of Dena’s favorite producers, Mike Burns of Los Angeles, Dex Dubious of Washington DC, and Delta S, of Camarillo, California. Transcendence takes the listener on a journey. It begins with the gently building piano infused “Summer Star”, building to the airy remake of “If You Were Here”, progressing to the dark, sexy “Dear Love Machine”, all by Mike Burns. The compilation reaches the pinnacle, rock meets dance track “Beautiful Liar”; by Dex Dubious and continues to travel through Dena’s mental soundscape keeping the listener guessing where the next track will take them. The album follows her course in life, a path of enlightenment, finishing off with the latest and greatest high energy, crescendo punctuated, trance track, “Love Eternally”, by Delta S.
